We carefully match mentors and mentees based on shared areas of expertise, career goals, and individual needs. Once you apply, we review your background and aspirations to pair you with a mentor who can provide personalized guidance. Matches are reviewed periodically to ensure alignment and mutual benefit.
The time commitment varies by program. For one-on-one mentorship, we recommend mentees and mentors meet at least once a month for an hour. Group mentorship sessions and workshops are typically scheduled on a bi-monthly basis, lasting 1–2 hours each. Flexible scheduling ensures the program fits into your busy professional life.
STEMspiration offers mentorship programs at little to no cost, thanks to the support of our partners and sponsors. Some advanced programs or specialized workshops may require a nominal fee to cover materials or expert facilitators. Financial assistance is available for those in need, ensuring access to all women who wish to participate.
